Free Ink Roller Scars 05/12/2005 David C. Roberson
The ink on my hands– just washable scars. A result of writing my love down and letting it out. What are these feelings, these thoughts so revealing, that tell me you may be the one? What are these notions that set into motion this idea that you are the one? The scars they wash off, and the tissue grows soft, and the page is made blank once again. Where to begin? Why would you want me? Where could you take me? Why should I love you now? I want to find out. What are these feelings? That set my soul reeling? That tell me you want me too? What is this burning? Why is my stomach churning? I must say this feeling is new. The ink stains my hands– retracing old scars. I can't stop writing this love down, and letting it out.
