The Ham(mer)
Photography
This was the second or third picture I ever took with my own camera. The year was 1999 or 2000.
The man is my dad, around 38 or 39 years old (younger than I am now). He was in the backyard working on something at dusk. Couldn’t tell you what, but when he saw the camera, he of course decided to hold up a hammer and act like he was coming for me.
The horrible (or cool) lights fucking up the shot are the camera’s flash reflecting off my hand (at the top) and the camera strap. It wound up looking kinda cool, I think. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have shown it here.
I’ll be posting more photography here. It’s been a hobby for 25 years now.

He must have been proud of you.
